REFUND

POLICY

Memberships: Prepaid Memberships and EFT Membership start-up fees are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances and are final sale. Remaining punch passes may not be transferred to a different climber, but can be shared if accompanied by punch pass holder. If you purchased an annual membership (or longer) you are eligible for a full refund within 10 days of your initial commitment to the membership.

Youth Programs: Refunds are determined on a case-by-case basis if there are extenuating circumstances. If the cancellation is due to circumstances out of the Guelph Grotto’s control (Act-of-God), credit will be added to the climber’s account for climbing programs (Day Pass, Prepaid Membership, or youth programs). If the patron cancels within one week of the program’s start date, only a 70% refund will be granted.

Climbing Gear & Merchandise: All climbing gear and merchandise are final sale and cannot be returned unless it was purchased as a gift with the itemized receipt. Returns will be determined on a case-by-case and may not be accepted on climbing gear.

Expulsion From Gym: In the event that the party is expelled from the gym, no refund will be given under any circumstances. Reasons for expulsion include: harassing staff or climbers; racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, etc.; creating dangerous situations for yourself or others; teaching others to belay; or not following other stated gym rules.

Discounted Purchases: Any items that were purchased at a discounted cost are considered final sale and nonrefundable.

If there are any discrepancies or questions regarding refunds, please do not hesitate to contact manager@guelphgrotto.com.

The Guelph Grotto is situated on the territories of the HaudenosauneeAnishinabewaki ᐊᓂᔑᓈᐯᐗᑭAttiwonderonk (Neutral)Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, and Mississauga. Guelph’s colonial borders also hold history of the Haldimand Treaty of 1784Treaty 3 of 1792, and Anishinaabe language. The Guelph Grotto profits and operates on land that we acknowledge and respect as Indigenous to what is currently Canada. We recognize the importance of listening and learning about colonization, both historically and how colonialism manifests today, so that we may take actions which contribute to healing relationships in Canada - between peoples, land, and communities.
