Whether you are an avid indoor climber looking to take things to new heights, or are new to the sport and looking to dive right in, this program is an accessible way to experience the unqiue challenge of climbing on stone! Hike beneath the canopy of Canada's Boreal Forest, find incredible fossils embedded in Escarpment limestone, and feel what it's like to use real rock as climbing holds as you ascend the cliff face and reach the summit.
This program is suitable for climbers of any ability.

This program will provide you with the knowledge and confidence required to set up and evaluate top rope anchors for climbing outdoors. Topics covered include knots, systems, possible hazards, and more.
Must be top rope belay certified at the Guelph Grotto or at your local climbing gym.

This course will build on your lead climbing skills and prepare you with the technical skills needed to set up, climb, and clean a sport route. Topics covered will include” crag etiquette, potential outdoor hazards, anchor setup/cleaning, and more.
Participants must be comfortable lead belaying and climbing indoors at a grade of 5.9.
Must be lead certified with proof.
This is a two session course, with the first approx three hours being in the gym and the second approx three hours being at the crag.

Explore the underground world that exists beneath Southern Ontario by lowering into local caves. Climb among the rarely seen depths of multiple cave systems with only the light of your headlamp to guide the way to discover natural hidden treasures including, an underground spring, and ice formations that remain well into the summer.
