Show Me the Ropes is a two hour lesson, during
The Guelph Grotto is committed to providing a
fun and controlled environment for climbers of all
abilities. If you have climbed before, but are
new to the Guelph Grotto, you must pass a
certification test before climbing in our gym. You
will demonstrate basic knowledge of
proper harness application, double figure 8 with a
double keeper and belaying.
Certification for top rope: $5.00 deposit (refunded if you pass)
Certification for lead: $10.00 (one-hour session by appointment, two people required)
